‘Live for Kids’ is an organisation running events in support of children’s health, and in particular the John Hunter Childrens Hospital. The organisation is focussed on creating a platform and the inspiration for parents to lead a healthy lifestyle as a role model for their children.

In 2010 Live for Kids have an exciting range of events;
  • Cycle Challenge – Coffs Harbour to Newcastle
  • Olivia’s Ride – a mass participation family ride
  • Running Events including participation in the Lake Macquarie Half Marathon
  • Weight Loss Challenge
  • Live for Kids Red Carpet Benefit

Our flagship event for 2010 is the Live for Kids Cycle Challenge, which is a three day, physically demanding ride from Coffs Harbour to Newcastle – more than 400 kilometres. The ride will commence on 13 August 2010, finishing in Newcastle on 15 August 2010.

To celebrate these great events and raise additional funds for JHCH, the inaugural Live for Kids Red Carpet Benefit will be held on Saturday 4th September, at Longworth House, Newcastle. The event will be a night to remember celebrating the ride, and other Live for Kids events during the year.
